96 REPORTS FROM COUNCILLORS AND PCSO

Cllr S Kindersley reported on the Dragon, which mends potholes in 3 minutes, and that Highways have no funds left. He also reported that CCC is raising money in 2018/19 but only to be kept in reserve. The bridge over the A428 in Bourn has no white lines and there have been several accidents. There is a planning application for an incinerator to burn landfill waste in Waterbeach but it is close to Denny Abbey. Cllr Kindersley also reported on the probable closure of Cambridge Magistrates’ Court as being currently too large, even though it was specifically designed for a growing community. The new East–West railway line is unlikely to run alongside the new A428, it is more likely to run from Shepreth to Bassingbourn. Other matters raised were the Red House sign for the opposite side of the road and advice on land for Longstowe housing needs.
