Cllr Tumi Hawkins’ written report covered the 2019 Parklife Event to be held on Sunday 19th May; the Village Design Guide; a National Design Award won for the design of the Marmalade Lane Co-housing development at Orchard Park; the future of the Tithe Barn, Landbeach; the A10 improvements; Environmental Services; New Investment on The Science Park; Housing Syrian Refugees; the “My South Cambs” Customer Portal.
Cllr Mark Howell’s written report covered Cambridgeshire Roads; Alconbury Weald Civic Hub; the removal of charges for computer use in libraries; Joint Minerals and Waste Plan; Quit Smoking campaign; LGBT Fostering; Apprenticeship Celebration Event for National Apprenticeship Week 2019; East West Rail; Secondary school places.
115 MATTERS ARISING/TO REPORT FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES
a) Non-delivery of the SCDC Winter magazine has been reported.
b) A police speed camera has been requested.
c) The bad state of the footpath from the crossroads to the bridge has been reported.
d) The bad road-surface north of the crossroads has been repaired.
e) The two dumped gas cylinders have been removed.
f) S/0663/19/FL Planning application: SCDC informed of PC’s concern over the amount of water entering the ditch.

a) Village Hall update, the Internet connection will be with BT.
b) New Longstowe website: LongstoweParishCouncil.co.uk is now live. Further discussions are needed on connections, photos, information to up-load.
