Minutes of the Meeting held on Thursday 20th July 2017 at 7.15pm in Longstowe Village Hall

Also present: Cllr Sebastian Kindersley, Cllr Mark Howell, Mr R Murden.

Mr Murden reported that footpath 7 (FP7) will have a bollard. He also commented on the lack of a bus service for Longstowe.

25 THE MINUTES OF LAST MEETING

Minutes of 15th June 2017 were agreed and signed.

26 REPORTS FROM COUNCILLORS AND PCSO

Cllr Mark Howell reported on transport, P&R, Libraries becoming centres, renewable energy, and scams. He also reported on the substantial increase in allowances paid to Cambs County Councillors. Cllr Howell specialises in Adult Social Care and Highways.
Cllr Sebastian Kindersley reported on South Cambs District Council planning services and their performance. He also reported that the hearings on the local 5-year plan are still ongoing

27 MATTERS ARISING/TO REPORT FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES

a) S/1411/17/FL: To raise the roofs on 2 outbuildings that are joined together: 28

Old North Road: Permission granted with conditions.

b) S/1366/17/FL: Two-storey extension to the side/rear and detached double

garage to the front: 49 High Street: Permission granted.

c) S/1841/17/LD: 48 Old North Road (Dr Cottman): Lawful development certificate for existing use of dwelling. Cllr B Smith report (circulated).

28 MEMBERS’ DECLARATION OF INTEREST FOR ITEMS ON THE AGENDA None received.

29 FINANCE

a) CAPALC: NALC grant of £579.95 received for internet in the Village Hall.

30 TO CONSIDER PLANNING APPLICATIONS RECEIVED

31 TO CONSIDER OTHER MATTERS

a) Village Hall update: the replacement of windows and doors is continuing. Any further donations would be gratefully received.
b) CAPALC: Annual Clerks & Chairman catch up day, 22 September, Hemingford Abbotts (Clerk given permission to attend, cost not yet known).
