Mr Murden raised the planning applications for external wall insulation (see 41). He would like to see an example and asked about a grant for his own house. He is concerned about the fire risk. Clerk to contact SCDC.

36 THE MINUTES OF LAST MEETING
Minutes of Wednesday 18th July 2018 were agreed and signed.
37 REPORTS FROM COUNCILLORS AND PCSO
Cllr Mark Howell (CCC) reported on a silver award from the Ministry of Defence’s employer recognition scheme for showing support to the armed forces and their families. He also reported on the latest GCSE examination results and the increases achieved; that CCC has two new ‘dragon patcher’ machines for pothole repairs; a report on the social care labour market; Looked After Children Placements; Home to School Transport and the SEN Placements budget.
Cllr Tumi Hawkins (SCDC) reported that the Local Plan has been accepted and that work will start on the next Local Plan in 2019. She also reported on the lack of infrastructure against an economic growth of 7% in our area.
38 MATTERS ARISING/TO REPORT FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES
a) S/2426/18/FL: Change of use and conversion of a disused stable block to holiday
accommodation: Wrights Farm House, High Street, Longstowe, CB23 2UN: Mr J. Crowther. Unfortunately, the wrong plans were sent. As the plans are the same as S/2931/17/FL (2017: 37), the Parish Council supported the application.
b) S2866/18/VC: Cambridge Gliding Club: Variation of Conditions: the Parish Council repeated its concerns.
c) CCC Highways Report 00298371 has been closed, work should be completed by November (entrance to St John’s Farm). This work was then cancelled!
d) Anglian Water (55254527): the new manhole covers still rattle.
e) Correspondence received: BPHA: Affordable Housing Provision: Council guidance will be requested.
39 MEMBERS’ DECLARATION OF INTEREST FOR ITEMS ON THE AGENDA None received.
a) ICO: Data Protection fee (Z812435X): £40 (£35 by DD) due on 20/10/2018.

44 SKYLARK – TO CONSIDER ANY EDITORIAL ISSUES
a) The reduction in numbers was the Editor’s decision based on leftover copies. Reinstate 115 copies, extra to go to Peter White for further distribution.
b) CCC: possible advertising article on “Stretch and Challenge Exercise Campaign” (1/2 page, £20).
