Minutes of the Meeting held on 15th July 2021 at 7.15pm

29 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Cllr Barbara Cooper and Cllr Tumi Hawkins.
30 TO SIGN AND APPROVE MINUTES OF LAST MEETING
Minutes of 17th June 2021 were agreed and signed.
31 REPORTS FROM COUNCILLORS AND PCSO
Cllr Hawkins July Report noted as received. Considered that further discussion on cycleways with Bourn would be beneficial and that Cllr Hawkins would be invited to the LPC September meeting specifically for this.
32 MATTERS ARISING/TO REPORT FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES (FOR INFORMATION ONLY) – COUNCIL TO REPORT THE FOLLOWING
a) Pathway along A1198: Discussion was had on what volunteer work to propose to CCC Highways.
b) Speed warning sign A1198: Agreed that a meeting with Highways and Cllr Mark Howell to look at siting would be useful. Cllrs Bevan and White to be involved.
c) Rowan Charity: In reply to the Rowan charity’s email, agreed that it would be approached with an offer to advertise / put information in Skylark.
d) SCDC Visitor attraction and tourism website: Agreed that advertising the village footpath network on this new SCDC was not necessary and that the paths are already easily available and well know to many walkers.

35 TO CONSIDER PLANNING APPLICATIONS RECEIVED

36 TO CONSIDER OTHER MATTERS
a) Village Hall update: The new cleaning schedule has started. Maintenance checks and any required work continue. Some new bookings are being taken. Looking at the feasibility of closing one of the Village Hall bank accounts which has high charges.
b) Covid-19 village update: It was agreed that now the government has relaxed the covid-19 regulations and because we have such a low number of requests for assistance in the parish, that the volunteers should be thanked for coming forward to help and be asked if they would remain in reserve should the situation worsen in the future.

37 CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED
A list of correspondence received is printed in the Agenda which is placed on the notice boards and on the web page prior to the Parish Council meeting; details are available from the Clerk.
38 SYKLARK – TO CONSIDER ANY EDITORIAL ISSUES
Deadline for copy of next issue: 2nd week in August. A number of items are in the pipeline including: Tractor run and possible quiz, monthly teas and harvest supper.
